  • To make comments to the District Council on local planning and development issues
  • To make representation at Public Enquiries where local planning issues are concerned
  • To respond to national and local government consultation papers involving, for example, housing, environmental and transport policies
  • To publish newsletters
  • To arrange annual programmes of events: talks, walks and tours on interesting local themes and issues, given by experts in their fields

  • Programme of Events for 2017

    We warmly welcome members and non-members to our meetings which are held at 8.00pm. An admission charge of £2.00 includes the cost of a cup of tea/coffee and biscuits. Details of other events will be given to members prior to the advertised date. Lecture meetings are on the last Wednesday of the month, socials on Fridays.
