Programme of events 2012
We warmly welcome members and non-members to our meetings which are held at 8.00pm in the Age Concern Centre, adjacent to Clair Hall, unless otherwise stated. An admission charge of £2.00 includes the cost of a cup of tea/coffee and biscuits. Details of other events will be given to members prior to the advertised date. Lecture meetings are on the last Wednesday of the month, socials on Fridays.

Following previous years' severe weather conditions we hve decided not to hold a meeting in January.

Julia Mawes will come and talk to us about her life as a Veterinary Surgeon in Haywards Heath .
Wednesday 28 March
AGM and cheese and wine evening.
Wednesday 25 April
Harry Townsend from East Grinstead will tell us about his fascinating journey from The Sahara to The Grand Canyon in aid of raising awareness of the skin cancer malignant melanoma.
Wednesday 30 May
Local historian, Mark Perry-Nash, will talk to us about "Sussex Village Life in the Middle Ages".
Wednesday 27 June
Rev Ray Smith of St Wilfrid's, Haywards Heath will address us about his role as Chaplain to the Emergency Services.
Wednesday 26 September
Steve Alton of Ardingly will talk to us about "The History of the British Landscape".
Wednesday 31 October
Local Susses Wildlife Trust speaker, Arthur Hoare, will address us about "Plant Foods and Medicines".
Friday 30 November
A Social Evening with supper and entertainment at 7.30p.m. for 8p.m.
